AcupunctureThis service requires a referral by your GP
Anticoagulant monitoring and dosing - provided in-houseThe practice is able to start patients on warfarin and monitor treatment completely in house by means of fingerprick testing while you wait. This has proved to be a popular service which has recently been extended to include a clinic which starts at 7.30am on a Wednesday morning.
Asthma ClinicOur dedicated team of nurses are fully trained in the management of respiratory conditions such as Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. We advise an asthma review at least annually if your condition is stable, however some patients will be seen more frequently as necessary. The nurses are kept up to date with current changes in asthma diagnosis, management and the full range of different inhaler devices.
Child health and development - Child Health SurveillanceRoutine Child Health Surveillance is carried out by the health visitor team who will be able to discuss any concerns you have with a GP if necessary. There is a well equipped Health Promotion Room from which various parent/baby activities are run. We offer all routine child immunisations from within the practice in clinics held by the practice nurses.

COPD clinic with spirometryPatients with COPD will be seen at least annually in our chronic disease clinic run by the nurses with an specific interest in respiratory conditions
Joint injections are performed by Dr Kendall and Dr Rhodes and include shoulder, knee, elbow and wrist injections. You will need to see a GP first to assess suitability for an injection.
Learning disability health checkMinor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house
W e are able to treat/remove small skin lesions by either cryotherapy (freezing) or cautery (heat treatment following a local anaesthetic). Conditions that are usually suitable include warts, verrucas, skin tags, some moles, small cysts, spider naevi. Please book to see a GP to discuss suitability for treatment.
