Baby clinic with health visitor - Well Baby & Child Health SurveilanceThe health visitors, practice nurse's and doctor's hold this session for well babies. At these clinics you can speak to any of the professionals, have your child weighed, measured, immunisations given and their medicals.
Please note this is a walk in clinic, so please be prepared to wait as their are no time appointments given.
The practice nurse's and HCA's run these clinics, please contact reception to book and appointment.
We Provide both alcohol and drug counselling services. If you feel you need this service please book an appointment with a doctor who will the refer you to this service.
If you need a joint injection please speak to reception and they will make you an appointment with the relevant doctor who will provide this service.
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant)

If you suffer a minor injury please book an appointment with the nurse / doctor who will be able to help.
This can be performed at the surgery by one of our doctor's, usually assisted by one of the nurse's / HCA. Suitable cases of minor suergy are carried out under local anesthetic, by appointment.
We carry out blood tests on Monday's and Wednesday's at the surgery, these are undertaken by a qualified phlebotomist. We also offer blood tests for patients who are taking anti-coagulant and rheumatology medication.
To book an appointment please speak to reception, as you will need a blood form completing to have a test taken.
We have counsellors attached to the surgery. If you feel you need to see the doctor, who will then refer you to this service. If you are refered you will be contacted by the service with an appointment time and date.
The practice nurse's or HCA can help you to quit smoking on a one-to-one basis, we will ensure that you recieve full support.

If you are going on holiday and require immunisations, please speak to our practice nurses at least 8 weeks before you intend travelling. There may be a chargefor this service.
