Services
Asthma Clinic - Asthma reviewAn appointment will be made with the Practice Nurse for reviews, usually it is an annual review to ensure that you are currently controlled on your medication, using your medication correctly and do not need any further assistance. The appointment will be for approximately 20 mins unless you have any other illnesses that need to be checked as we do operate a multiple review assessment so that you can have all of your reviews done at once to save you time this appointment would be for 40 mins.
At your first assessment after diagnosis you would be required to have a reversibiltiy testing which would involve having a Spirometry ,taking your medication, waiting 15 mins then having another spirometry.
On your annual review you would have just one spirometry and discuss your medications etc with the Nurse this appointment takes approximately 20 mins but if you have other illnesses we would review these at the same time whereby the appointment would be approximately 40 mins.
