Our practice nurse can see you for any concerns regarding your asthma. Annual reviews are also booked with her. Just give the surgery a call or come to the desk for an appointment. She is in on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The assessment is completed by the GP. You should get a call from the surgery or a letter inviting you and your child to attend for the appointment. However, if you have not heard from the surgery then you can ask a member of staff to arrange it for you

Our child Immunisation nurse comes on Thursdays. You will usually get a call from the surgery requesting you to bring your child in for the immunisations. However if you do not recieve a call you can always ring in and arrange an appointment. If you are unavailable to attend on a Thursday, our practice nurse is also trained to administer the vaccines.

Appointments regarding COPD and spirometry will be led by the practice nurse, Ms Kunlere. Ring reception and request an appointment with nurse for a review

Diabetes clinics are usually led by the practice nurse. She is able to complete a full diabetic review including bloods and foot assessment. She can also initiate insulin. Please ring the surgery or come to the desk to book an appointment for Diabetes review or check.

This clinic is led by Dr Roy and it is held on Mondays. You will need to book a routine GP appointment with Dr roy first so he can assess your condiiton and decide if minor surgery is the best option.

Your name and contact details will then be put on the clinic list and a member of the reception team will call you to arrange an appointment.

This service requires a referral by your GP

We have a health trainer that attends the surgery on most Thursdays. She can give you information on weight management (inc. diet and exercise), and see you regularly to manage your progess. She also provides exercise referral's to the Rochdale Leisure Centre.

Our healthcare assistant and nurse are both trained to take blood. The appointment needs to be booked for before 14:30pm as blood samples are taken at this time.

This service requires the nurse or GP to request the blood test, however the service can also be used if the hospital consultant has requested a blood test.

Patients can book themselves in for smoking cessation if they want help to quit smoking. These appointments can be made with the HCA or the practice nurse. The initial appointment will be 20 minutes and then each follow up will be 10 minutes.
