Contact Reception to make an appointment within normal surgery hours

To discuss a new IUD please make an appointment with Dr Dovedi.
If you are due an annual check or would like the coil removed this can be done by a Practice Nurse
If your coil is due to be changed you need to book an appointment with Dr Dovedi for an assessment prior to being fitted.

We do not run a specific surgery for this service, however, if you need some form of minor surgery the Doctor will advise you who the appointment should be made with during surgery hours

This service requires a referral by your GP

We have an in-house dispensary which enables us to provide dispensing services to all our patients provided they live more than 1 mile from a Pharmacy.
Those living within 1 mile of a Pharmacy i.e. Newport or Saffron Walden can take their prescriptions to a pharmacy of their choice to obtain their medication.
Repeat prescription requests should be handed into the Surgery allowing 7 days until collection.
We have arrangements with Boots the Chemist in Saffron Walden, Newport Pharmacy and Wells Pharmacy who collect daily.

We have three specialist Phlebotomist's at the surgery who can take blood during morning appointments requested by the Doctors or your hospital consultant.
You do need to see a doctor who will clarify whether you needs tests and specifically which blood tests you need.
You can then make a morning appointment to have the sample taken..
Results a normally available up to a week after the test.  The doctor may wish to contact you with the result but in general please call the surgery after 2pm Mon - Fri and we will be happy to give you the result.  Paper copies can also be printed out by Reception if required.

This service requires a referral by your GP
