Anticoagulant monitoring and dosing - provided in-houseFor those patient who require regular INR monitoring for their warfarin medication, a weekly clinic is held here within the medical centre. This clinic is held every Tuesday upstairs in the community services area.
This service requires a referral by your GP
Asthma ClinicOur respiratory trained Practice Nurses run regular clinics for patients with Asthma. You will be sent an appointment each year to have an annual review of your condition and medication.
Baby clinic with health visitorA baby clinic is held weekly with one of the doctors and our practice nurses who carry out childhood vaccinations and child development checks. Appointments are sent out when vaccinations or development checks are due.
This service requires a referral by your GP
COPD clinic with spirometryOur respiratory trained Practice Nurses, run regular COPD clinics here at the surgery. You will be sent an appointment each year to have a full review of your condition including a spirometry test when appropriate.
Dressings clinic (nurse led)We provide a full dressings service here at the surgery for the convenience of our patients who would otherwise have to travel to the dressings service held in Lancaster.
Joint injectionsTwo of our doctors are fully trained and experienced in providing certain joint injections. Patients would otherwise have to travel to hospital for this procedure. Please ask at reception for an appointment with either a doctor or nurse practitioner who will be able to refer you to this in-house service if required.

Learning disability health checkMinor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house
We provide a minor surgery service to our patients here at the surgery, saving patients the need to attend hospital for the removal of minor skin lesions. Please ask at reception for an appointment with a doctor or nurse practitioner who can refer you to this service if required.
