Anticoagulant monitoring and dosing - provided in-houseWe offer a standardised and clinically effective anticoagulation management service. All our patients on Warfarin therapy are advised to book an appointment with one of our health care assistants before they see a doctor. We also provide and initiate DOAC therapy.
Asthma ClinicPatients suffering from asthma are invited to make an appointment with one of our practice nurses and are asked to attend every 3 to 12 months for regular check-ups (including a medication review and lifestyle advice). Our nurses liaise with our doctors, where necessary.
Baby clinic with health visitorWe run a baby clinic on Tuesday mornings between 9:30am and 11:30am. This is by appointment where post natal woman and their new born babies are monitored and immunisations are administered. This clinic is for well babies only.
Child health and developmentChatfield Health Care also runs a Mother and Baby clinic concurrently alongside that delivered by the health visitors on Tuesday mornings in which the doctor conducts baby developmental checks and routine care for the under 5s. You cannot make an appointment for this clinic but will be sent an appointment before your baby is 8 weeks old.

Child ImmunisationsChatfield Health Care offers routine child immunisations at the surgery which are mostly free and administered by our practice nurses. For information about children's immunisations, you can visit the NHS immunisation website.
COPD clinic with spirometryChatfield Health Care provides a community based accessible Spirometry Service through patient testing and results interpretation via our practice nursing team.
Spirometry is a test that can help diagnose various lung conditions, most commonly COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Spirometry is also used to monitor the level of severity in COPD & Asthma.
Diabetes management is provided by our practice nursing team. Patients will be invited to make an appointment every 3 to 12 months for regular check-ups (including a
medication review and lifestyle advice). Where necessary, our nurses liaise with our
doctors to ensure you receive the best possible care.

Joint injections - Minor SurgeryMinor Surgery is offered under local anaesthetic in our specialised clinic which is generally held on Thursday mornings between 9am - 11:30am. To access this service you should book a routine appointment with a doctor to discuss the procedure.

Learning disability health checkLong-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant)
Coil fittings/removals or implants are provided by two of our doctors generally between 9am - 10:30am on Friday mornings. This service can only be booked through our dedicated practice nurse. In order to access you should speak to our receptionists who will transfer your call to the relevant nurse.

PhlebotomyChatfield Health Care provides regular morning clinics with our Health Assistants to take blood samples that are required to be transported to the pathology lab at St. George's Hospital for analysis.

Smoking cessation clinicChatfield Health Care provides a stop smoking service via our level 2 and 3 trained health care assistants. They provide specialist counselling via one to one support and can provide those wishing to stop smoking with appropriate help through nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and/or intensive specialist advice.
Travel health with yellow feverChatfield Health Care offers a full range of travel vaccinations via our practice nurses. Appointments should be booked at least four weeks in advance before leaving the country as a full course of injections may be required. The Fit For Travel website has comprehensive information on the vaccines you will need for various countries. There is a cost for the majority of travel vaccines that are given and a full list of these charges can be requested from our reception staff.
