Services
Child health and development - FAMILY PLANNING CLINICWeekly Family Planning Clinics are held each Tuesday between 4 pm and 5 50 pm. No appointment needed. A wide range of contraception is offered for females and males. Impnanon and Coils will usually be seen initially at this clinic and then booked in for an appointment for fitting.
All patients between the age of 15 to 24 who are, or ever have been sexually active will routinely be offered a chlamydia test.
The goal of public health is to prevent disease. It's much easier and cost-effective to prevent a disease than to treat it. Immunisations protect us all from serious diseases and also prevent the spread of those diseases. Over the years immunisations have prevented epidemics of once common infectious diseases such as measles, mumps and tetanus. And because of immunisations we've seen the eradication of smallpox, and the near eradication of polio.
Our clinics are on:
Mondays, 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
Post-natal and baby checks also take place during this clinic, appointment needed.
