I offer tuition for 11+ entrance exams for state grammar and top independent schools. If your child has got the potential, I guarantee success at the entrance exams. If I fail to deliver, I will refund full tuition fees. No hidden costs.

I had been a university lecturer for more than 2 decades: including two top 50 universities in the world. I studied at various top universities from four continents including Columbia University, New York, USA; Indiana University, Bloomington, USA; Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; and Heidelberg University, Germany.

I prepare pupils for 11+ entrance exams for many grammar and independent schools including Queen Elizabeth’s Boys, Henrietta Barnett, The Latymer, North London Collegiate, Haberdashers Askes, Dame Alice Owen’s, St Albans, St. Michael’s Catholic etc.

In 2019 (2020 intake), so far, my pupils have successfully secured places (not merely achieved pass scores) at the following grammar schools:

I cover all the 11+ subjects: English (including writing), Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. For 11+ preparation, I accept students from year 3 onwards.

Year 5 pupils will be required to take assessment tests (primarily Maths and English) as I do not want to create any false hope. I only accept students whom I believe to have a real chance of qualifying. Guaranteed places are, however, available for only year 5 pupils who score at least 50% in the assessment tests (minimum 6 months prior to the entrance examinations). FYI, in order to get into the top superselective grammar schools like QE Boys or Henrietta Barnett, a candidate’s minimum raw score has to be between 80% and 90% to qualify before age standardisation.

My rates are: £70 for one-to-one 90-minute sessions; £35 for 90-minute group sessions (group size is 4-6) and £40 for 120-minute group sessions. I provide tuition only at my home in High Barnet (0.3 miles from High Barnet Tube Station).

Finally, I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (previously extended CRB).
