Mr Oliver Foster
Manager
As a care home manager I am responsible for the day-to-day running of our nursing home. I oversee all activities within the home and make sure the quality of the service and care provided meets the National Minimum Standards for our Hatton Court.
We at Hatton make sure that we develop ways to promote their rights and responsibilities and provide information, advice and support to residents, their families and our Staff. Also, we arrange stimulating activities and encouraging residents to get involved. We support our activity organizer to create the opportunity for residents to contribute to the local community and access local services e.g. library, schools, local church and vicar.
I Endeavour to maintain the smooth running of the home by supporting and encouraging staff in their role and promoting comfort, dignity and respect to our residents.
When I interview and recruit staff I try to make sure that they have the potential to maintain environmental standard and if they are determined enough to meet the physical needs of our residents.
