Registered in 2000 having completed his Pre-Reg training with Boots.

Following registration, Atin worked as relief manager within Boots Pharmacy for two years, gaining valuable corporate experience and a fantastic understanding of how to manage an effective, successful Pharmacy business. 

For 5 years after his boots tenure, Atin worked as a Locum Pharmacist, covering a massively diverse range of pharmacies. Staying totally customer focused and results driven, Atin partnered up with his now co-director to purchase Howitts Pharmacy in Leicester. Realising the potential and quickly becoming a cornerstone in the local community, he took Howitts Pharmacy to new heights. Patients throughout Leicester now know that Atin Patel and his team are the best point of contact for all your day to day pharmacy needs. To accommodate the ever increasing trade, Atin moved the business just a few doors up the Saffron Lane into a purpose renovated double shop front premises in January 2013 - increasing retail, consultation and dispensing areas by over 100% giving all patients the best possible service.
