Bashir Kassam and Dinesh Parmar formed their partnership in 1977 and have been at Silvercourt from 1982. Dr. Dinesh Parmar, LDSRCS (Eng) retired from clinical practice in 2008.

Dentist

I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1976. My main interests are Cosmetic and general dentistry, implants, endodontics and sedation. In 1997 I gained the Diploma in Conscious Sedation from the University of Newcastle and followed this with a Diploma in PostGraduate Dental Studies from the University of Bristol in 2002. I am committed to continuing professional development and education and regularly attend courses in the UK, France, and USA to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I attended an intensive one year course in dental implantology at the Tatum Institute in 2006/7 .In  2014 I gained the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and was admitted to  Membership in General Dental Practice from Faculty of General Dental Practice. In addition to General Dental Practice, I have worked as a community dental officer, and as a Research Fellow and Clinical Lecturer at the Dental Hospital in Birmingham. I am also on a medico-legal panel and am involved in writing medico-legal reports in injury cases. I am fortunate to have my colleagues refer cases to me for dental sedation, endodontics and implants. I am a member of the British Dental Association,  The Faculty of General Dental Practice, The Association of Dental Implantology (UK),  and The Dental Professionals Association., International Team for Implantology, European Osseointegration Association, Society for the advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) .

Nina Kassam

practice admin and accounts

Nina is married to Bashir and they have two sons. Nina worked as an ESOL tutor before joining our practice. Nina looks after the practice administration, practice accounts and reception. Nina also does voluntary community work in her spare time.

Samantha Mould

Dental Nurse

Samantha has been with our practice since 2002. Samantha has been a Dental Nurse since 1993. She qualified in 1996 and has continued to further her knowledge and skills ,gaining her certificate in Dental Radiography (2003),certificate in Dental Sedation Nursing(2007) and certificate in Oral Health and Application of fluoride varnish (2012).Samantha is registered with the General Dental Council.

Tracey Smith

Reception and Administration

Tracey is the welcoming voice you hear when you call our practice and if you have any questions or concerns she is always ready to help. Tracey has been with the practice for over 20 years, starting her career as a dental nurse in 1981. Recently she has taken up reception and admin role within the practice, which she enjoys very much. She is committed to on going education and keeps up to date with current clinical duties and ideas. Tracey is registered with the General Dental Council.
