Dentist

Nigel qualified in 1997 at the University of Sheffield and has 18 years of experience as a dentist; part of this was as a flying dentist in the outback of Australia!

In Nigel’s spare time he enjoys cooking with his specialities being Indian food and bread making. He is new to the area and is looking forward to exploring the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.

Nigel will be accepting new patients.

Mr. Ross Mark Wilson

Dental Practitioner

Ross graduated from King’s College, London, and worked in a number of London teaching hospitals and district general hospitals. In 2000, he gained the MFDS RCS (Eng) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Ross is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists, and SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry), and can offer sedation dentistry for nervous patients.

Ross has attended many postgraduate training courses including certification in surgical and prosthodontic implantology from the Eastman Dental Institute and has particular interests in oral surgery and dental implants.

Ross is married and has two children.

Dr. Mark Atkinson

Principal Dentist

Mark graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and is the owner and principal dentist of London Road Dental Practice. He originates from the Lake District.

Over the past 10 years, he has gained a wealth of clinical experience through working in a busy NHS practice. He loves travelling and has previously worked as a mobile voluntary dentist in Ecuador, travelling around the country helping local patients out of dental pain who would not normally have access to a dentist.

Together with his wife Ee Ying, he spends his spare time relaxing with their two young daughters.

Mrs. Sarah Beeby

Hygienist

Sarah graduated from Bristol Dental Hospital in 2016.

Sarah was previously working in Hampshire before joining the London Road team in March 2018.

Her hobbies include learning to horse ride, racket sports and traveling.

Mrs Charlotte Gardner

Dental Hygienist

Charlotte qualified from the Bristol Dental Hospital originally as a Dental Nurse and then as a Dental Hygienist in 1985.

Charlotte lives locally with her husband, her grown up children who are now following their own career paths. Her interests include collecting Swatch watches, travelling & walking.

Charlotte has worked at London Road Dental Practice since 2001 and enjoys her work especially with nervous patients and is always gentle caring and considerate towards all her patients.

Dr Vanessa Neves

Dentist

Vanessa joined our team in November 2019 to provide dental care for our patients, both new and existing. Vanessa was born in Canada and moved to Portugal with her family at a young age. She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Lisbon with a Masters Degree in Dentistry and has been working in the southwest of England for the past four years. As the daughter of a dental nurse, she was introduced to dentistry at a tender age and loves all aspects of it. She is particularly passionate about looking after children and nervous patients. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys music, cinema visits, photography and most of all, travelling.

Dr. Ee Ying Ooi

Dentist

Born and bred in Malaysia, Ee Ying moved to sunny Glasgow to pursue her dental training, graduating with Commendation in 2008. With her husband Mark, she is the co-owner of London Road Dental Practice.

After a stint as a Senior House Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Plymouth, she has been working as a dentist in general practice in the Bristol area.

She is passionate about continually updating her skills and knowledge to keep abreast of the advances in dentistry. In 2012, she completed the Advanced Implantology Course in Dentale and in 2015, she gained her Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies with Merit from the University of Bristol.

She is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England.
