Dr Eamonn McDaid

Practice Principal

Eamonn qualified from Sheffield University in 1996, opening Chilwell dp in July 2005. An ambitious, driven and focused individual, he believes in encouraging a whole team led approach in the management of patient care to ensure we deliver a leading edge care programme for all of our patients to help them maintain a confident and healthy smile. Eamonn is passionate about dentistry, and through enthusiasm and dedication he has furthered his career by undertaking training both here in the UK and with some of the leading pioneers in America. He has a gift for delivering excellent cosmetic dentistry using the latest equipment and technology such as microscopes and digital imaging and has a keen interest in endodontics, occlusal analysis and complex restorative treatments. His ethos is to inspire the whole team resulting in the practice being renowned for its excellence in customer service.

Dr Vanessa Caldeira

Dentist

Vanessa qualified in Portugal and moved to England in 2007. 

Vanessa worked for 9 and a half years at her previous practice in Derbyshire and was well known for her commitment to her patients dental health and for her loving manner. She likes to build a good rapport and get to know people so she can provide personalized care. She also has also worked at the Dental Department at QMC 

Vanessa has started her Diploma a certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Warwick She has also completed an Orthodontics course for General Dentists. Always pursuing excellence, Vanessa spends a lot of time on courses in order to update her skills and knowledge. In her free time she likes to travel, walks by the sea side, read, learn about ancient civilizations and have friends over for dinner. She has a baby boy who takes up most of her time now!

Dr Caroline Bunting

Associate Dentist

Caroline graduated from Manchester University. She strives to achieve excellence, and regularly attends conferences and courses to keep up to date with modern techniques. She has particular enthusiasm for treating children and anxious patients, and has helped many patients overcome their dental phobia. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit by swimming, running and kayaking.

Mrs Amanda Holmes

Dental Hygiene Therapist

Starting her dental career as a nurse in 1995 Amanda then furthered her career by qualifying as a dental Hygienist/Therapist from the Eastman Dental Hospital London in 2002. She gained valuable experience working within the community dental service for eight years and specialised in treating pediatric and special needs patients. She has an excellent rapport with children and nervous patients, and is always willing to listen to the needs of patients and discuss treatment options. She has a special interest in cosmetic treatments and is also instrumental in developing our patient care programme to ensure it remains leading edge.

Mrs Jayne Moss

Practice Support Manager

Jayne is our practice support manager, and plays a vital role in the running of the practice, liaising with both staff and patients and is a great support to everyone.

Jayne has many years of both dental nursing and reception experience and also acheived her dental radiography qualification making her an all round team member.

Paula has completd her NEBDN course to become a qualified dental nurse. Paula is fluent in Spanish and is a great addition to our team.

Lucie is the newest member of our team and has moved into the area with her family. Lucie is a great team player and asset to the practice delivering fantastic care to all of our patients.
