Child Immunisations - Nurse

We undertake all primary immunisations of children ourselves and operate a recall system.  The practice was one of the first in Derbyshire to introduce regular child development clinics and has been involved since 1971.  Clinics are held in conjunction with our attached health visitors and a recall system operates for these clinics as well.

Since 1st September 2015, all immunisations for school age children have been the responsibility of DCHS and are to be given in school. All queries should be directed to them on 01283 707170 or www.nhs.uk/vaccinations

Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house

The partners undertake various minor operations including injection of joints and cautery.   Patients should make an appointment to discuss any minor operations.

Primary care counselling service

We have a counsellor and Mental Health Worker available via Steps2change to help with emotional and stress related difficulties.  Referrals are made following preliminary assessment by your doctor
