I chose to be a team member here because Acacia is a fantastic home with great staff and facilities for residents and their families. I have been a part of the Acacia team for 7 years now and I have built strong relationships with staff as well as residents and I feel a great pride in calling Acacia a home away from home. The best part of my role is the engagement I have with our residents. I feel great joy in creating lasting moments for our residents and helping them to overcome obstacles to fulfil their aims and wishes. My role is important because the well-being of our residents is at the core of everything we do and to see their enjoyment and laughter gives me a great sense of pride. In my spare time I like to make and sell jewellery and I also enjoy to DJ. In addition, I love to read Sci-fi books and I have a keen interest in history.

My name is Neela Mudalli and I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1998. I moved from hospital specialities to care home in 2013, when I joined The Future Care Group. I love ensuring that our residents, their friends and family always feel welcomed here, so we make sure there is plenty to do - whether it's cheese and wine in the afternoon or relaxing in the garden! I pride myself and our wonderful team for creating a warm and homely place for everyone and we are delighted to receive so many compliments. We work hard together as a team at Acacia to make this home a comfortable home for our residents.

I'm often speaking to residents, their families and friends to make sure they are heard and care plans are person centred. It's important to give them choice and have a say in what they want to do. That's why I always have various activities on offer!

I love listening to our residents and always try extra hard to make sure they have everything they need. I also support my team at all times and am ready to go an extra mile in order to help with their tasks.
