Sunita is an activity co-ordinator who plans activities for the residents and arranges trips to the local area with our residents

Mr Ainsworth Brown

Head Chef

Ainsworth is an experienced and professional chef who prides in offering nutritious, well-presented, resident's specific culinary menu to all our residents. Residents meal requests, choices and specifications take high priority for him and the catering team.

Mr Liviu Cornea

Home Clinical Lead

Liviu has joined Austen House as Clinical Lead, he is a qualified Registered Nurse who deals with all aspects, clinical needs to the residents ensuring well being, works hand in hand with the Deputy manager.

Ms Natsayi Dunira

General Manager

Hi my name is Natsayi Dunira and I am excited to be the General Manager for Austin House. My mother says I was born a nurse and true, I have never known anything as fulfilling as being a Nurse. I qualified in the year 2000 and I have successfully managed Nursing Homes for about 17 years. I however believe that my father’s Journey with a Stroke 2013, Depression, Dementia, Cancer of the prostate, Diabetes and eventually death June 2018 finally affirmed my commitment to maximize ones potential, my residents or my staff. I believe every human being has potential to blossom, when loved and natured. My father graduated with an Honours degree in Theology 2016. Passionate about maximizing potential for the elderly frail with Dementia, I studied, Dementia studies at Bradford University, Quantum Reflex Integration , Music therapy, Gut and Psychology Syndrome and I am currently studying Sensory Enrichment Therapy . Together with my fabulous team of like-minded individuals, we are dedicated to ensuring that our community here at Austen House experience the very best of what life has to offer. I am a Registered General Nurse for 35 years, working in Care Home environment for last 14 years. I am a passionate Nurse and like to make positive impressions for the care of our elderly residents. I love my job and enjoying my role at Austen Care Home as Head of Unit.

My name is Lettie I recently joined Austen House in 2018 and am one of the Head of Unit. I lead a team of qualified Career's who are dedicated to delivering personal centred care to all residents and am so proud of my job get to meet various people knowing that each day I improve their lives.

My name is Patricia Jury, I have been working for Barchester for over 14 years. I am one of the team leaders at Austen House Nursing proud to deliver quality care for all residents utilising all the training Barchester offers with dementia, so that residents on memory lane get all-around personal centred care as needed

My name is Elizabeth, I have been working for Austen House Nursing Home since 2003. I am passionate about my job. Working for Barchester is a privilege, as I have got lots of training which has helped me in my position as senior carer, to improve on the lives of residents and be able to lead my team in a professional pathway.

Ms Gina Mandache

Hi, my name is Gina Mandache and I am the deputy manager at Austen House. I have been a qualified nurse since 1988 and have worked in many departments such as liver transplant, and cardio surgery. I have been involved in elderly care since 2003 when I started as a senior carer. I found my passion for elderly care and absolutely love my job and could not see myself working anywhere else.

I am a young, dedicated, committed nurse, willing to explore and develop my knowledge and skills. I enjoy working with a variety of people and enjoy a challenge, using my initiative to solve a problem. It is important to me to ensure that within the care home my residents are comfortable and satisfied with their surroundings and care.
