Ms Hannah Clipstone

Actvities Coordinator

Hi, I am Hannah and I am the Activities Co-ordinator at Bushey House to ensure that everyone has a fantastic time! I coordinate bigger group activities with arts, crafts, music, floral arranging, quizzes and much more. We have smaller activities as well and I also spend time one on one time with each resident sometimes having a cup of tea and a chat or doing someone’s nails! I am always open to new ideas and love being creative!

Head Chef

Avni's passion for his cooking is reflected in the delivery of his food. Having won Barchester' Chef of the year in 2008 Avni and his team continue to produce inviting and appetising menus, if there is nothing on the menu you like just ask and he will endeavour to please.

Mrs Victoria Forsythe

General Manager

I have been a Registered General Nurse for over 25 years initially working within the NHS and then in 1998 moving into social care where I had started as a 16-year-old Carer with aspirations to become a Nurse. I feel privileged to have worked across the spectrum of adult social care through the years supporting those clients with Nursing and Residential needs alongside those living with dementia and Acquired Brain Injury. Experience with both small and larger homes for a variety of organisations both as a Troubleshooting Manager for services experiencing challenges and as a Commissioning Manager for new builds has brought me to Bushey House where I am excited to start the latest chapter of my Nursing career. I am looking forward to working alongside such a fantastic team leading from the front to inspire delivery of the very highest standards of care and support to each and every one of our Residents.

I have worked for Barchester since 2016, originally as a Carer at Chorleywood Beaumont, and then furthered my career by joining the administration team as an admin assistant. I am now working at Bushey House as an Administrator.

I am looking forward to the challenges that my position at Bushey House will bring. I enjoy interacting with residents, colleagues and visitors and aim to provide an efficient administration service, along with the rest of my team.

Deputy Home Manager

My name is Amy and I am Deputy Manager at Bushey House. I have been a Nurse for over 10 years and I have been fortunate to gain experiences in both the NHS and private sectors. I have spent my career progressing from Community Nurse up to District Nursing Sister and then to Clinical lead and Deputy Manager. I am passionate about delivering excellent care, and building a good strong care team at Bushey House. I have qualifications in advanced wound care, palliative care and have attended the Gold Standards Framework course.

Home Trainer

Bernadette ensures that all our staff have up to date and thorough training programmes delivered to them on a regular basis. This allows all of our staff to provide a high-level of quality care with expert knowledge that Barchester is so passionate about. All of staff have the opportunity to learn as they work and Benadette enables that for our staff. She regularly hosts staff training as well as organising external trainers and specialist to join staff at Bushey.

I have three years experience as an administrator in a busy 75 bedded nursing home. Before this, I have worked as a Customer Advisor at a bank and as an Accounts Assistant at a small Geotextile company. I am looking forward to the challenges that my new position at Barchester will bring. I enjoy interacting with residents, colleagues and visitors and aim to provide an efficient administration service.

Hello, my name is Kamila and I am the Receptionist here at Bushey house. I assist Lynn the Administrator in making sure the home runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
