I have been a qualified chef for over 28 years and had publications in Stir it up magazine for 2nd place in care catering of the year, 1st place in design catering and he lead his catering team to the finals of National care home awards 2018. I have a Bachelor degree in Hotel services management. NVQ level 5 in cooking. I feel a valued member of our TLC team and always go the extra mile to ensure our resident's needs are met.

Mr Christopher Burks

Maintenance Person

I always do my best to a very high standard to ensure our wonderful building is well maintained for our residents. I have worked in this industry for over 15 years and always give 110%. I continue to develop my skills with ongoing training. I also assist and provide regular fire warden training to the team. members

Finance and Admin Manager

I have joined TLC in November 2018 and come from a legal background as a solicitor in Sri Lanka. Having obtained my Masters in Business and commercial law in Liverpool John Moors university in 2011. My previous administration experience was in the retail industry

Health Services Manager

I have completed my bachelor's degree in nursing in India in 2008 and worked as a Pediatric nurse from 2008-2010. In 2010 I came to the UK and started my masters in advanced nursing whilst studying I worked as a unit lead in a care home. In 2011 I was promoted as a Care Coordinator and then in 2014, I was again promoted to deputy manager.

Ms Berni Martin

Lead Community Development Manager

In my younger years, I travelled the world as a dancer and illusionist, which gave me a great understanding of the world and different cultures and nationalities. I have been involved in the care sector for many years, in building strong relationships with referrals and delivering excellent customer service for our homes and residents. I am delighted to be working in the TLC family.

Mrs Brenda Sweetman

Home Manager

I started my carer in care in 1980 working in a busy elderly care unit in Watford Hospital I loved this position and decided to go and do my nurse training. I qualified in 1984 and continued back in the same unit as a nurse. I then spent some years in different departments of the hospital. After having my family and working for 10 years as a wound care rep. I found my way back into the NHS and eventually became senior sister in a rehabilitation unit. I started working with TLC in 2014 and I have been a home manager since then. Cooperscroft is a lovely Care home full of amazing people and I feel honoured to be part of it.

Mr Carl Weston

Hotel Service Manager

I previously worked for one of our sister homes, Cuffley Manor, as the Head Chef for three years, before moving into the role as Hotel Service Manager at Cooperscroft. During my time at TLC Group, I have been successful in winning numerous regional and national awards. My background before joining the care sector was gaining various NVQ qualifications at Bedford College, before moving into Hotels and Restaurants.
