Asthma Clinic - Asthma / COPDPatients with respiratory conditions are annually invited for a health check and medical review with one of our Specialist Respiratory Nurses. If you have any concerns please contact our Reception Team
Child ImmunisationsChildhood immunisation Clinics are held on Monday afternoons. Invitations are sent from the Health Authority asking the Parent or Guardian to contact the Surgery to make an appointment
Diabetes Clinic providing insulin initiation - Diabetes ClinicThe Practice invites diabetic patients for annual reviews which includes an initial blood test followed by an appointment with one of our diabetic nurses. Newly diagnosed diabetic patients are recalled more frequently.
Dietician - provided in house and available on NHS - DieticianThe Dietician from Leighton Hospital holds a Clinic on alternate Thursday mornings. Prior to seeing the Dietician an appointment with your doctor is required

Learning disability health check - Learning Disability Health CheckAnnual invitations for continuing health checks are sent out to patients or their Carers on their behalf. Anyone with concerns should contact the Reception Team who will make an appointment with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC - eg IUD or implant)Drs Farmer & Drake are pleased to report that we are able to offer the full range of contraceptive options. IUDs and implants can be fitted and removed as a straightforward procedure at the Practice. Please obtain further information from our Practice Nurses or ask about appointments at Reception
Minor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-houseFollowing an initial consultation with a GP, patients are then referred for minor surgery within the Practice. Patients will then be contacted to arrange a convenient date and time for the procedure
Phlebotomy - Phlebotomy ServiceA Phlebotomist from Leighton Hospital attends the Health Centre Wednesdays and Fridays, patients should book appointments with the Reception staff for this service

Primary care counselling service - Counselling ServicesA range of counselling services is provided within the Practice for both children and adults. Prior to a referral being made an initial appointment with your doctor is necessary to discuss the options available to you

Smoking cessation clinicThe Practice does not provide a Smoking Cessation Clinic. Patients are signposted to where this service can be accessed within the building. However, support and advice is given to patients with chronic respiratory problems as and when required
Travel health with yellow fever - Travel HealthTravel health and vaccinations are provided by our Practice Nurses. Prior to an appointment please obtain and complete a Travel Health Questionnaire which is available either on line via our website www.cedarsmedicalcentre.nhs.uk or at Reception. This will assist the nurse and save time during your appointment
