Dr Christopher Malcom Scales

General Practitioner

Having been born and bred in Kent, Dr Scales moved north for university and graduated from Leeds medical school in 2003. But after meeting a Lancashire lass he moved to the northwest, married and started a family and now has three beautiful children.

Dr Scales originally trained to be a surgeon specialising in orthopaedics and trauma but later realising he was happiest working in the community, changed his career to become a GP.

This has given Dr Scales a wealth of experience in both surgical and medical specialities and he even spent time in Washington DC USA working for a trauma team. He continues to have an interest in surgery and has a regular minor operating list at the surgery. Outside of work Dr Scales tries to stay fit running but it’s mainly running after his three children!
