Amit graduated from the University of Leeds with a Merit of Distinction in the Examination of Clinical Dental Practice. He has completed the postgraduate Membership of Joint Dental Faculties examinations and the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons England.

Amit works at Brickfields Dental Care and previously held a part-time position as a Speciality Doctor in Oral Surgery at Broomfield Hospital. He won Best Audit and Best Case Presentation during his Vocational Training Year and was also a winner of the 6-month long campaign (Fast Track 4) by Dentistry Magazine to recognise the work of young dentists. In 2014, he was shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Young Dentist category at the Dentistry Awards and in 2015 won Highly Commended Best Young Dentist South Region. In 2017 he won Young Dentist of the Year at the Dental Awards. He has also written many articles for well-known publications with dentistry.

Amit has interests in Implant, Restorative and Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Amit has undertaken the 1-year Foundation in Implant Dentistry supported by the International Team for Implantology and is currently undertaking an MClinDent in Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics at Kings College London to further his passion for Restorative Dentistry. This is a 4 years intense masters course for which he is in his final year.
