graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003. Since then, I have furthered my interests in all areas of general dentistry by attending courses and gaining postgraduate qualifications. Most recently, I acquired a postgraduate certificate in endodontology, or more commonly know as root-canal work. I love working with magnification either through my Zeiss™ dental microscope or with dental loupes. At present, I travel to London to study under the guidance of Chris Orr, a past president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and I am midway through gaining a certificate for cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative dentistry. In my part-time, I enjoy keeping fit by running and going to the gym. I also like going snowboarding with like-minded dentists every winter.

Sarah Hutchinson

Associate Dentist

Sarah graduated from Leeds in 2013 and went on to complete her DF1 in 2014. Since then she has pursued knowledge on multiple aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign treatment and assisting in implant placement.

Having recently completed her course in facial aesthetics she is now able to administer dermal fillers and botulinum toxin injections.

With a diverse skill set Sarah is considering specialising in the field of Periodontology, but for now is continuing to build her expertise in general dentistry. Her goal is to continue learning as long as possible, be innovative and takes pride in her work, helping as many patients as she can to achieve their own dental aspirations.

Moss Osman, the founder of Bridge dental & Implant Clinic, graduated from Bristol University in 1993. He has over thirteen years of experience in the field of Dental Implantology. His training has been in the UK. His particular interests are implants in the cosmetic zone – making implants imperceptible from natural teeth.

Moss Osman is a member of the International Team of Implantologists (ITI), which is a group of academics, and clinicians who are dedicated to research and teaching in implantology. Moss Osman is a certified Straumann™ implant user and accredited mentor in implant dentistry. He is member of the A.D.I. (Association of Dental Implantology), the British Dental Association (BDA) and British Society for Occlusal Studies (BSOS).

Miss Katie Shooter

Katie Shooter graduated from Sheffield University in 1998, and has gained over sixteen years’ experience working in general dental practice.

She has worked in well-established Dental Practice in London, Stockholm (Sweden) and Derby. She has developed a wide range of experience in all aspects of dental care and has passion for delivering the highest quality, dedicating time and attention to improving patient’s smiles.

Katie is experienced in providing both general and cosmetic dental treatment. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and continues her study in this evolving field through attendance at various courses. Katie has travelled extensively around the world to attend courses detailing the latest techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

The most rewarding part for Katie is treating anxious or nervous patients, having helped many, including children, overcomes their dental concerns.

For her work here at Bridge Dental & Implant Clinic, she holds traditional values. Katie strives to ensure that all her patients benefit from the very latest dental techniques and materials, bringing the best evidence based dentistry from local and national expertise.

With over 16 years’ experience, Katie has developed a large and loyal group of patients. She has seen children become parents, pupils become teachers, and sometimes, patients become colleagues. Katie is particularly proud that a number of her patients have joined her to observe and later practice dentistry.

Katie is very proactive in her continual professional development both in clinical dentistry and academic research. She is member of the British Dental Association and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Socially: Katie is a proud mother and blessed with two wonderful daughters. She loves to live life to the full – including travelling, cycling, yoga and hiking. She also loves cooking and is an exceptional dancer (wow).

Mr Mujtaba Tahir

I qualified from Liverpool University in June 2005. Since qualifying, I have been working for Bridge Dental & Implant Clinic, despite the fact that I commute from Leicester everyday to get to work and am proud father to healthy and beautiful triplets born in September 2009! My passion in dentistry stems from a combination of helping people medically, be it those in oral pain, or improving smiles to improve quality of life and confidence. In addition to general dentistry, I have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic treatment (braces) involving Clearstep™, Invisalign® and Inman aligner™ and more importantly, dealing with nervous patients. I am an accredited member of Inman aligner™, Clearstep™, and a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Dental Association. The ongoing continual professional development allows for enhanced knowledge and up-to-date technology is used in the practice to benefit our patients.
