Peter has clinics throught the day, he deals with minor ailments, coughs, colds, sprains, strains.  Hayfever etc.  Peter also does medication reviews either over the phone or face to face to check patients are using correctly.

Services

All our Practice Nurses offer appointments to diagnose, review and monitor patients with Asthma including Children. The nurse will check inhaler usage and technique and give education and advice as well as a management plan. Appointments can be made with reception.

These clinics are held on Thursday lunchtime/early afternoon. Development assessments are carried out at 8 weeks by your GP. The Practice Nurse will then give the 1st immunisations. All other immunisations that your child needs will be done by the Practice Nurse on the Thursday clinics

Appointments for this can be mad with Alison Sealey, these can be offered at various times of the day Monday to Friday and take approximately 30 minutes.

Dr Vance and Dr Bhatt all do simple minor surgical procedures. these include Joint injections (not hip), excisions of cysts, removal of moles and skin tags, cryotherapy, toe nail removal. Ask at reception for an appointment.

This service requires a referral by your GP

The practice offers a phlebotomy service every morning from 07.30am. If you have been advised to make an appointment for blood tests these can be booked either at reception or over the phone.

There is an NHS service for which patients need to be referred by a GP.  Dr Rose offers a private counselling service based at the centre.  For more details please contact reception.

There is a clinic run by the smoking cessation service every Wednesday in the Health Centre, this is a 1-1 service you can also ring Freephone 0800 328 8534 where they can arrannge a range of services

The Practice Nurses offer information on requirements for travel to different countries. All standard travel vaccinations are available. Please allow at lest 6 weeks to complete your vaccinations. A Travel questionnaire form is available from reception which needs to be completed and handed in for the attention of the practice nurse. Anti-malarial are NOT available on the NHS. PLEASENOTE : We are not a registered yellow fever vaccination provider
