We currently see all adult patients with asthma on an annual basis to ensure the condition is under control and the patient stays well. Asthma patients under the age of 19 years old will be asked to see one of our practice nurses every 6 months or twice per year to ensure the condition is well managed, a personal asthma action plan will be discussed at the consultation with the nurse and inhaler techniques will be observed. PLEASE NOTE you will receive either a text or letter inviting you for a review

Invites will be sent out from the practice and will be scheduled in line with the national immunisation guidelines for children and babies. If you have any questions regarding your child's immunisations please contact the practice. If you are unable to attend the designated time then please ring the surgery and we will rearrange your appointment to suit your needs.

Patients with any of the following conditions will be asked by the practice to attend an annual review with one of our trained healthcare professionals. We will invite patients by either letter or text and patients can also ring the practice to book an appointment. Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Heart Disease, Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Stroke or Mental Health.

All patients who are registered with the practice will be called each year to have a full health check. Patients will be asked some questions about any health issues or problems in order for the practice to ensure the correct care pathway is followed. All patient are reassured and are welcome to be accompanied by a carer, relative or friend.

Dr Makojnik runs a sexual health clinic each week. Please ask at reception

These clinic are held by Dr Saraf for patients requiring minor surgery such as skin tag, mole removal that do not require referring to the hospital. These clinics are usually held on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Patients need to see the GP who will advise to book at an appointment with a member of the reception team.

This service requires a referral by your GP

All patients can be seen by our in-house Councellor from MIND who can see patients for a number of reasons relating to anxiety, depression, anger management, stress, low esteem etc. Please either discuss with your GP or ask at reception for an initial appointment to be made. Appointments are available on Wednesdays

Various travel vaccinations are available at the surgery. We do not offer the Yellow Fever vaccination at the practice but can signpost any patients needing this vaccination as part of their travel requirements.

If you are planning to go abroad its advisable as part of your travel preparations to make sure you have the appropriate vaccinations. If you need travel vaccinations you will need to see the Practice Nurse for this. Please arrange the appointment approximately 6 weeks before you travel. You will need to fill in a short questionnaire about your travel, questions include:
Country you are visiting
Length of stay
Date of departure and purpose of travel (i.e work, safari, visiting family, etc)
