Services

Staff from the hospital come to the surgery every fortnight to monitor patients on warfarin. They can also arrange appointment at other local surgeries if needed for a specific date. They will do a blood test and advise about the dose required.

The practice nurse offer all aspects of care for asthma including testing of lung function, advice about treatments, personal management plans and will arrange for prescriptions if required.

Baby checks are done at the baby clinic and also by our health visitor

Our practice nurses offer immunisations, mostly at the baby clinic on Tuesday afternoon but these can be arranged at other times too.

Our nurse practitioner Elaine sees patients with COPD for diagnosis and for annual review to check lung function and ensure patients are on the best treatment.

We offer annual comprehensive health checks to patients with moderate or severe learning disability.
