We have practice nurses at each site who provide annual asthma clinics

An appointment is not required for the well baby clinic. the health visitors provide support and advice on any general health issues that may arise within the family. This clinic is not for acutely ill children. If your baby is due for an assessment then an appointment will be sent to you from the child health surveillance computer centre in Brighouse. One of the clinicians will administer primary immunisations within this clinic.

All patients diagnosed with COPD have an opportunity for an annual review appointment with our Practice Nurses. This includes a spirometry, medication and inhaler review and provides patient's with a chance to discuss any health needs associated with their COPD. We also ask local district nurses to provide housebound patients with a COPD review should they require it.

We provide an annual diabetes review for all our patients diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. It provides patients with the opportunity to have a medication review with a member of the clinical team. It also provides patients with the chance to have a diabetic foot check with a podiatrist.

Patients across all three branch surgeries have the opportunity to see our Minor Surgery clinician who is based at Woodside surgery. We administer joint injections, remove moles and skin tags and ingrowing toe nails as part of this service. Dr Abhilash also does minor surgery procedures at Shelf Health Centre

This service requires a referral by your GP

We have nurses based at all three of our surgeries who are able to offer smoking cessation advice and prescribe smoking cessation medication to patients who want to quit smoking
