Ms Susannah Barker-Milan

Home Manager

Susannah brings a wealth of specialist dementia care knowledge and experience to Eccleshare Court Care Home. Susannah has over 25 years experience of working in health and social care, spending the last 10 years specializing in Dementia Care. Prior to her appointment with Country Court Care, Susannah spent some of her career working with the renowned Bradford Dementia Group at the University of Bradford – leading on the groundbreaking Dementia Care Mapping in Supported Living project, whilst with the group, Susannah spent her time developing organisations in person-centered dementia practices. Susannah has been responsible for leading and implementing the Enriched Dementia and Meaningful Opportunities Programme for all Country Court Care Homes before moving to the Home Manager role at Eccleshare Court.

Mr Noel Claveria

Chef Manager

Noel is our Chef Manager at Eccleshare Court he is a highly skilled chef with a background in catering onboard cruise ships. Noel works closely with the care team, residents and their families to understand everyone's individual preferences and nutrition needs. He takes care to ensure that he asks for feedback by speaking to residents regularly about their meals.

Noel and his team provide fresh cakes every day in our coffee shop for residents to enjoy with their visitors. Noel is especially creative with celebration cakes for birthdays and special events and ensures that every resident has a personalised birthday cake.

Mrs Cheryl Emmins

Activity Coordinator

Cheryl is one of our Activities Coordinators, she loves singing and dancing and her bright bubbly personality always brings a smile to the faces of our residents. Cheryl loves to get to know all of the residents at Eccleshare Court enabling her to provide personalised activities for each individual. Cheryl has recently started 'Ken's Kinema Club' after discovering one resident worked previously as a projectionist in cinemas, enabling him to continue to enjoy his love of films and share his passion with others.

Wellbeing Activities Coordinator

As an Activity Champion it is my aim to provide the individual with a variety of stimulating activities to enjoy, encouraging them to have a happy healthy quality of life maintaining their dignity.

Mr David Stacey

RMN Nurse

David joined Eccleshare Court in April 2018, after working as an agency nurse and had done some shifts at Eccleshare over the previous 2-3 months. He really liked the home, so he applied for a permanent role. Prior to this, he worked for United Health in care homes in Lincoln and Scunthorpe so he was familiar with the care home environment.

David felt that he could use his skills in a more meaningful way in a care home, as nurses have much more time with people and don’t just treat them and move them on as quickly as possible. In a care home you get to know a person’s medical history but also their personal background enabling you to build long term relationships not just with them but their families too. You make connections with people that you just don’t get working in acute care. The goal here is about enabling people to have the best possible quality of life.
