Mr Neel Kothari

Practice Owner

Neel joined High Street Dental Practice in 2010 and has committed his long term future to the practice.  He carries out a range of general family dentistry, as well as more advanced care such as cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.  He undertook his dental training at Bristol University and has a particular interest in dental implants and treating nervous patients.  Neel also writes for Dentistry Magazine and Smile-On News on issues concerning the dental profession and supporting patients’ rights, as well being on the editorial board of a number of dental journals.  Interests include swimming, running, cooking and more recently a new passion for Kung Fu!

Mrs Catherine Louise Watts

Dentist

Louise qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1990 and has lived and worked in the Cambridge area since 1996. She joined High Street Dental Practice in 2009. Louise enjoys all aspects of family dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry, which involves the repair of teeth, for example, fillings, root canal treatment and crowns. She has a busy home life and her interests include travelling, theatre, cinema, eating out and country walks.

Mrs Angela Girgis

Dentist

Angela studied dentistry at King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 1992. She joined the practice in 2013, having worked in the Newmarket and Cambridge area since 1998. Angela has a special interest in Endodontics, the root treatment of teeth. She is happily married with three teenage children and keeps herself extremely busy training and competing for Ironman triathlons!

Mr Barry Healy

Dentist

Barry previously worked in the field of genetics before qualifying as a dentist in 2013 and joining the team at High Street Dental Practice in 2018. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a keen interest in restoring teeth using minimally invasive techniques. Barry has taken many courses to enhance his knowledge and skillset; he is currently finishing a postgraduate course in restorative dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons and is undertaking further training in root canal therapy. Outside of work Barry enjoys keeping fit, travelling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs Sarah Bridges

Hygienist

Sarah qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1998. She further developed her career by studying dental hygiene at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London, qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2001 and joined our team in September 2001. Interests include family, being a ‘dance mom’ and cooking.
