Baby clinic with health visitor - Baby ClinicThe Health Visitors and GP like to see all new babies at six weeks and for regular checks thereafter. Contact the health visitors on 01274 771995, for more details about this drop-in clinic. The postnatal check and six week baby examination are done by appointment within this clinic by a GP.
An invitation to attend the practice will be sent to mothers requesting that they make an appointment for their child to receive their vaccination. Contact Idle Medical Centre on 01274 771999 to make an appointment. If you have any queries about your child's immunisations please contact the Health Visitors on 01274 771995. The health visitors have an answer phone so be prepared to leave a message.
COPD clinic with spirometry - Asthma ClinicMorning and afternoon times are available. We encourage all patients who have, or think they may have, asthma to attend our clinics. Appointments are booked through the reception.
Learning disability health checkMinor surgery (e.g. removal of moles and skin lesions) - provided in-house - Minor Surgery
Minor operations can be carried out in our treatment room. Please discuss this with your doctor who will then arrange for you to be put on our waiting list.

Smoking cessation clinic - Smoking Cessation ClinicCounselling is on request and a clinic is held every week
Travel health with yellow fever - Travel ClinicAdvice and immunisation by appointment with the practice nurse. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccines which are not covered by the National Health Service and a list of these charges is available at reception. Remember to contact us at least six weeks before travelling.
