Appointment's are available at variable times 5 days a week. The Practice Nurse or Healthcare can monitor your inhaler technique and carry out tests that you would determine how well your asthma is managed.
The Practice encourages patients to attend for their reviews on a regular basis. Regular reviews can prevent unplanned hospital admissions.

Post Natal and Child Health checks are carried out by Dr Shahid on Tuesday mornings alongside the Baby Clinic. The surgery will pre-book appointments for mums and babies for their 8 weeks check.

We have trained health care professionals to ensure that Diabetic patients receive regular podiatry checks within their own Practice. Appointments can be arranged by contacting the Practice.
The Practice has an additional Female Healthcare trained for our Female patients.

Our Healthcare are trained to carry out Spirometry checks.

Spirometry is a simple test used to help diagnose and monitor certain lung conditions by measuring how much air you can breathe out in one forced breath.

Patients can come down and asked to be weighed at any time. The staff will record their weight in to their notes and the Practice Nurse/healthcare will follow up on patients that require lifestyle advice. Some patients may be referred to the GP to start on oral medication that may assist in them losing weight.

Support, advice and counselling for patients who wish to give up smoking. We run clinics
twice a week and are able to prescribe some Nicotine replacement therapies for patients that require that bit of extra support. We will closely work with you and set a quit date offer telephone support as well as face to face reviews.
