I am originally from Ghana and graduated from Leeds University. I joined the team as a Partner in March 2014, having worked in Bradford for over eleven years. I have a special interest in Teaching and Training, and have been recently approved as a GP Trainer. I also have an interest in Mental Health and dealing with complex patients. Outside work, I am a musician and vocalist in an alternative hip-hop band.

Dr Alun Griffiths

I graduated from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1980 and after GP training came to Bradford in 1984 and have been a partner here ever since. Although I have particular interests in respiratory medicine I believe a GP is nothing if not a generalist, and that continuity of care and understanding all aspects of a patient’s needs are core to our role.

I have been a member of the Local Medical Committee, the body which represents all GPs in Bradford and Airedale, for over 20 years and am a serving councillor on Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Outside work I am a steward at my local Methodist Church and play rudimentary guitar and bass and can occasionally be found singing at local open mic nights. In the last couple of years I have taken up running (and some triathlon) and take part in the parkrun at Horton Park.
